In my view Cognitronics provide an excellent service, they regularly service our cheque machine, if we have any issues at all with the machine, we call them and they are with us on the same day, and always fix the problem, no matter how small or how big. However, it is very rare anything does go wrong with the machine and it is always fixed within a day. Darren the engineer is very helpful in giving advice re technical issues and knows the system inside out, very knowledgeable. For over ten years we have worked alongside Cognitronics in creating & developing solutions to enable us to process these in accordance with our SLA’s as well as meeting our audit requirements.

We originally started off using their scanning hardware and software to process our bespoke Bank Giro Credits and Cheques. At that time we handled nearly 1000 cheques per day.

Having seen the other main part of our operation, it became clear that Cognitronics could help us further by developing a BACS Reconciliation
Module. This enables items on our daily bank statement to be matched against our customer’s remittances advices which again had been scanned utilising their scanning software.

Our latest project with Cognitronics has seen these remittances advices being captured and processed within our email Inbox resolving the need to print out and put through the batch scanners. In the past year this system has successfully processed over 30k remittance advices which have ranged from simple one page pdf’s to complex multi page, multi column documents.

Any support we have required is dealt with quickly and efficiently. The staff are professional but friendly and we don’t have to rely on one person to deal with any issues we may have.

All these applications have benefited our company in many ways and I look forward to working with them again in the near future.
